Bio

I grew up in a family oriented Hispanic culture that places value on care and community. It’s second nature for me to be in a position of caring for family and friends. Apart from babysitting, house sitting and continuous dog sitting, I also have community service experience from two abroad leadership programs through Global Glimpse. I traveled to Ecuador in 2019 and then the following year I traveled to Costa Rica. While staying in these countries, I completed over 80hrs of community service. We taught free English classes at a local college, tutored at an elementary school specifically for students with disabilities, we proposed a project and built the students a garden as well as finishing a previous groups emergency ramp for wheelchair accessibility. The project was completed in the span of 4 days involving great qualities such as teamwork, effort, and dedication. These leadership trips have allowed me to expand my perspective on the world through direct experiences that I’ll carry throughout life.

Fun Fact

My family and I enjoy playing traditional board and card games together. I enjoy going on long walks with my puppy while listening to my favorite music or podcasts. I also love to continuously explore and add to my creative side by starting new sketches or beginning new poems.
