Bachelor of Science in Education: Elementary (1-6) from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Currently pursuing Reading Masters with Endorsement from Concordia University.
Bio
I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to the Chicagoland area after getting married in 2016. My husband and I have one son, who just turned two. We enjoy spending time outside, traveling, and love all things Disney. We love sports but have a divided house on the teams we cheer for. Growing up in St. Louis, I am a Cardinals and Blues fan, but my husband is a Cubs and Blackhawks fan. Prior to working for Andy’s Hub, I worked as an elementary teacher for ten years. I am currently back in school for my second master’s degree to pursue a dream of supporting students in reading and becoming a reading specialist. I love working with kids and aside from teaching, I worked as a full-time nanny and a part-time sitter for eight years in St. Louis and in Columbia, Missouri.
Fun Fact
My husband and I met through a German cultural dancing club. I was in a St. Louis group, and he was in a Chicago group.
