First Class Honors Bachelor of Education from Strathclyde University, Glasgow 2004

Bio

Originally from Scotland, I have taken my career internationally and have enjoyed teaching, and being part of school leadership, in British, international schools in New York, Chicago and Spain. I have taught across all stages of the primary school from Early Years through to Year 6, and can truly say that I do not have a preference of age group because each stage brings its own unique experience. In addition, I have worked as private 1:1 tutor for over 8 years. Laterally, this has been in an online capacity, with skills perfected during the prolonged period of virtual schooling during the pandemic. I am a mummy to 4 year old twin boys, Alfie and Noah, and 6 months ago, we welcomed baby Mateo. With three little ones, I have decided to take some time out from the school setting to spend time at home with my children, but I really look forward to working with families via Andy’s Hub on online 1:1 tutoring sessions.

Fun Fact

I am terrified of heights but also a bit of an adrenaline junkie! While traveling, I found myself skydiving out of a plane at 15,000ft in Australia and bungee jumping 134m into a canyon in New Zealand! I would like to say my fear of heights is conquered but that wouldn’t be true. However, both of those things were terrifyingly, amazing experiences!
